Race Rock Ripper

The Race Rock Ripper was designed for attaching dead bait or grubs like Berkley Gulp to it.  They feature a reverse barb on the collar to grip in the bait of choice so it does not fall off or spin while jigging.  The Ripper is best used in faster currents, with its pointed shape head it helps cut through the water much better, which helps reduce the jig weights at time.  A single reverse barb was also used to make sure the baits were not destroyed in the event of changing colors or sizes during fishing. To use the Race Rock Guppy, simply tie it on and add your bait of choice, and drop it down to the bottom. Fluke, Sea Bass, Porgy and many other bottom fish like to hangout around structures like reefs, boulder fields, wrecks, sand-waves and rocky slopes.
